Welcome to Iron Horse "Plantain" Ball

New York's First Youth "Plantain" Ball Tournament

"Plantain" Ball being based on the alternative rules made popular by the Savannah Bananas "Banana Ball"

The Experience

  • Primary age group is 15U - but solid 13U/14U teams and 16U teams will be considered!

  • Learn the "Plantain" Ball experience starting with a "Plantain" Ball clinic where you learn the rules, trick plays and practice your dance moves.

  • Put your skills to the test in a wild 3 day tournament - remember, every inning counts!

  • Get plantain-merch at the fan shop

  • Win "best bunch" by being the most entertaining team in the tournament

  • Be the "MVE" - the Most Valuable Entertainer
